Current and future career pathways
-
Home Support roles
Opportunities may include companionship, shopping, simple meal preparation, light household support, community access and help with everyday routines.
These roles focus on practical and social support and do not include nursing, clinical tasks or regulated personal care. -
Care and support staffing assignments
Temporary or planned assignments may become available with care and community organisations seeking suitable care assistants, support workers or other non-clinical staff.
The hiring organisation directs the worker’s day-to-day activities within the agreed assignment and local procedures. -

Individuals and families may ask Bluebell Haven Care to search for and introduce suitable Personal Assistants.
The individual or their representative decides whom to meet and choose. The ongoing employment or engagement arrangement is normally agreed directly with the selected Personal Assistant and is separate from employment by Bluebell Haven Care.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER
Important information about careers and opportunities
Are there current vacancies?
Only roles specifically advertised as open should be treated as current vacancies. The expression-of-interest form allows us to learn about people interested in future opportunities but does not guarantee that a position is available.
What types of contracts might be offered?
Depending on the role and business requirement, opportunities may be advertised as zero-hours, temporary, fixed-term, part-time or permanent.
The employment status, expected hours, pay, duties and applicable terms will be stated clearly in the vacancy information and written offer. Registering interest does not guarantee a particular contract type or number of hours.
Are Personal Assistant opportunities jobs with Bluebell Haven Care?
Not necessarily. For the Personal Assistant introduction pathway, Bluebell Haven Care may search for and introduce candidates to individuals or families.
The individual or their representative makes the final choice and may employ or engage the selected PA directly. The precise arrangement will be explained before an introduction proceeds.
Will I need a DBS check?
Some roles may require a role-appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service check. The type and level of check depend on the duties and legal eligibility of the particular role.
A current certificate does not automatically remove the need for further checks.
When are right-to-work documents required?
Do not upload identity or immigration documents through the expression-of-interest form.
If you progress towards employment, Bluebell Haven Care will explain the approved right-to-work checking process and when evidence is required.
Is visa sponsorship available?
Do not assume that visa sponsorship is available. Any vacancy that offers sponsorship will state this explicitly in the published role information.
Registering interest does not create an entitlement to sponsorship or confirm that a role meets immigration requirements.
Can I request a reasonable adjustment?
Yes. Tell us if an adjustment or accessible format would help you take part in the recruitment process.
You do not need to provide detailed medical records when making an initial adjustment request.
Should I send confidential documents through the form?
No. Do not submit passport copies, right-to-work evidence, DBS certificates, bank details, National Insurance information or medical records through the website form.
We will explain a secure process if documents are genuinely required at a later recruitment stage.
